What this app does

The Sound Recorder app allows you to record, modify, and play back audio from your PC’s microphone.

Information collected, processed, stored, or transmitted

The Sound Recorder app records audio data from the microphone. The audio data is stored on your PC. Use of information No audio recordings are sent to Microsoft.

Choice and control

You can choose to turn off Sound Recorder’s use of the microphone in the Settings for Sound Recorder. You can choose who to share your audio recordings with through the Search charm.
