You have the opportunity to rate some content in Microsoft Office Live, such as how-to or help articles. When you rate content, Microsoft Office Live will collect your rating as well as a unique identifier used to match you with the rating that you have provided. Your rating will never include contact information. The unique identifier is contained in a cookie and is used only to allow you to change your rating at a later time. If you delete the cookie, you will not be able to change the rating.
To help reduce fraudulent use of our services, you may be asked to use a service provided by Authentify, Inc., to authenticate who you are.
If Microsoft Office Live requests that you use Authentify as the authentication method, your telephone number will be transferred to Authentify as part of Authentify’s identity-management service. Authentify will use your telephone number only for authentication and aggregate reporting purposes.
If you register or redelegate a domain name through Microsoft Office Live, the Internet's governing organisation, Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), requires us to submit your contact information, such as name, postal address, phone number and e-mail address, to a public registry. To review the data in this registry, you can visit the Web site of our domain name registrar, Melbourne IT. You can also view your information by signing into your Microsoft Office Live account, clicking Account Settings, and then clicking on Domain Manager. To edit this information, click the Properties link next to your domain name, and then click Edit Properties under Registration Contact Information. The updated information will be automatically sent to Melbourne IT.
You can review and edit the personal information you provided to Microsoft Office Live by signing into your Microsoft Office Live account, clicking on Account Settings, and then clicking on My Information in the left-hand navigation.
Microsoft Office Live may host other Microsoft products or services as a subscription benefit or supplement. These products or services may have their own privacy statements or privacy supplement.
